Both coat types also  fall in gentle waves and can be kept long with regular maintenance. The main difference between the straight and wavy coat is mostly relevant to breeders as the genetics of a wavy and straight coat differ.

Our dogs will generally be small medium to medium. Our focus is always on health, coat and temperament above size.  Here is a guide to understanding the breed sizing:

Miniature Cobberdog
Height: 33cms to 42cms to top of shoulder
Weight: 7-16kg

Medium Cobberdog
Height: 42cms to 51cms to top of shoulder
Weight: 14-22kg

Standard Cobberdog
Height: 51cms to 61cms to top of shoulder
Weight: 20-35kg

Cobberdogs come in many beautiful colours but the likelihood of being able to pre-order a specific colour is slim due to Mother Nature being in charge!   Our breeding program for the foreseeable future sees blondes, goldens, apricots, reds, cafes and chocolates being most likely.  Just remember that what is most important is their temperament!

No, due to the current demand for Cobberdogs, we would be spending all of our time greeting potential new families rather than looking after our dogs and children!  The best thing about buying a Cobberdog from an approved MDBA breeder is that you can trust you are getting a quality dog.
